Shinji Kashima opened the main store at 23, Sugahara-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka city to make and sell nichrome wires and electrical heat appliances. Kashima steadily continued its business by achieving outstanding sales results during a period of wide-spread investment in manufacturing. |

On April 1, the store was reestablished as a corporation by recruiting stockholders, to further expand its business. The corporation was renamed Kashima Shoten Co., Ltd. Achieving outstanding business results by trading with many of the manufacturers in the Kansai region, Kashima Shoten has built a solid business foundation. |
